My Skin Care Routine!

To start off, I've never had problems with acne or anything like that. And I thank the genetic Gods, or whatever Gods make that possible. I get maybe like 3 big pimples a year if that, and they are right smack in the middle of my nose. I notice when I stress big time I get one in the middle of my forehead, lol. Other than that I really only have skin texture on my forehead due to my skin being dry from the cold weather. I also have severe dryness around my nostrils, which is so annoying! It also gets a little red. Please know what you put into your body matters!!! What food you consume, what drugs you consume, basically whatever you put in your body affects not only your insides but your skin as well, and how it looks. Be mindful of how you treat your body, you only have ONE.
Number 1: A must in my routine is WATER. If your skin is not getting the sufficient amount of water, the lack of hydration will present itself by turning your skin dry, tight and flaky. Dry skin has less resilience and is more prone to wrinkling. Nobody should want dat ish.
Number 2: Cleanser, I use Biore's Baking Soda Pore Cleanser. When I wash my face I like it to feel clean of any dirt, dead cells, and whatever else. Especially after the gym. This stuff is bomb.

Number 3: Moisturizerrrrrr!!!! This is KEY to any skin type but especially dry skin, like mine. I was on the hunt for a good moisturizer for a while and my home girl Sami (who is a licensed esthetician) told me to look for a product where the first ingredient is water. I just discovered this Nivea Creme within the last 5 months or so and my skin has never felt more nourished. It's at the most $3 and one little dab literally is all you need for the face. I use it on my entire body. It's so hydrating and thick. My holy grail product for sure.

Number 4: Even after I moisturize I lock it allllll in with MARIO BADESCU Facial Spray With Aloe, Herb and Rosewater. If you don't have this then click the damn underlined words and purchase ASAP. Sometimes I use it to set my makeup if I want a more dewey finish.
Number 5: Once a week I use SheaMoisture's Coconut & Hibiscus Radiant Mud Mask. It absorbs impurities and removes dead skin cells that can dull the skin. It also helps brighten, soften, and deeply nourish skin.

Number 6: After the Mud Mask I apply just a drop of this Rosehip Oil. I also use it if my skin is feeling a little more dry than usual & mix it in with my moisturizer. It's considered one of the best plant oil sources of omega 3, Omega 6, Vitamins A, E and F. It also helps reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles around the eyes, and scars.

Number 7: For even more hydration and when I just want to do a little self-pampering, I've been addicted The Creme Shop - Drink Up Skin face masks! I found them at Marshalls for $3.99. Seriously, go get them. Or order them online!! Your skin will thank you.
