I switched my skin routine up slightly, cause if it ain't broke don't fix it.
Step 1: wash my face with Biore Baking Soda Liquid Cleanser
(new) Step 2: I figure since the baking soda dries out my skin a little, to add some hydration and moisture back in I purchased Okay African Black Soap bar from Burlington Coat Factory for $2.99. The natty bar increases collagen production, and contains vitamin E & shea butter, which nourishes, softens, and clarifies the skin. It really helps plump the skin!
Step 3: Pat face dry and spray on Pixi Glow Mist this mist quickly made its way into my holy grail product drawer. I use it to moisturize, as a primer, and sometimes as a setting spray if I'm feeling a more dewy look.
I try to do face masks twice a week. I get them at Marshall's. I aim for the hydrating ones mostly cause ..dry skin, duh. I still use the SheaMoisture Coconut & Hibiscus Facial Mask when my skin is feeling textured and unusually bumpy.
Water ultimately is my best friend. I try to down at least a gallon a day on top of sweating a hell of a lot. Always be sure to hydrate your body and eat accordingly. Eat like shit, your skin will look like shit. What goes in our body shows on the outside.
Stay hydrated!
