Overcoming self-doubt

We all have that inner critic who won't shut the fuck up. It can undermine potential success and happiness, it can cast a dark cloud over even the sunniest of days, it can really make someone feel like shit.

You'll find yourself looking up mantras, or quotes on Pinterest trying to get out of the funk of self-doubt. But it still lingers like a 47 yr old IG stalker from Russia.

Doubt is created in the brain when we're toddlers. We aren't sure wether to mind our damn business and play with our blocks, or throw the block at mommy's head to piss her off. I probably threw that damn block more than I minded my business.

"95% of our behavior is controlled by our subconscious mind. Our behavior is reflected in the blind decisions we make every day without a moment’s consideration. Consider how much of your daily life’s decisions are automated — devoid of conscious intent." -Bruce Lipton

Doubt will not go away. Every day won't be an Instagram highlight reel. And you have to be okay with that. You have to be uncomfortable before you can be comfortable. BUT, if you leave doubt uncontrolled you won't be the confident motherfucker you have potential to be. Confidence isn't only for the girl who takes bomb selfies, it isn't only for people doing "good" in life. It's for anyone who has the balls TO BE CONFIDENT.

So when you doubt yourself, think of how you're blocking your blessings Sis.

Instead, think of how to reconnect with your purpose. Do NOT allow the obstacles in life get the better of your ass.
